Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Hands down the best pizza ever! Finally the Cincinnati favorite has made it to Knoxville!

Based on two carryout experiences, I think the management needs serious re-evaluation. The first time, the place was packed for dinner and the wait staff appeared to be doing their jobs. The checkout counter was another story. Two people behind the counter were out of their element and struggled with every aspect of their jobs. Management clearly did insufficient training to leave them on their own like that. The second time, the pre-lunch crowd was sparse, leaving several wait staff free to gossip around the hostess desk - something I've heard has happened there before. The person behind the counter was having a great deal of trouble with a multiple-payment order and had to ask for a manager's help. When the manager finally arrived, they too had trouble with the last part of the order. Finally completing it, they left without even acknowledging my lengthy presence. One waitress did tell me someone would be with me soon, but that was it. The pizza was good enough each time to earn them a second star.

DO NOT ORDER FOR DELIVERY I ordered over the phone and instead of talking to someone at the store it connected me to a call center. The woman on the other end was rude, slow, and seemingly untrained. Not only did the ordering process take far too long, instead of giving me a medium pizza like I had asked for, she gave me a personal size pizza. By time the food got to me (40 mins later) I was too annoyed to send it back. I'm very disappointed in La Rosas policy of using call centers rather than letting me speak to someone who knows the area and will be putting my order in for me.

The two stars are for the staff only. They were friendly, outgoing, and funny. The rest was not so good. I ordered a small 7" thin crust pizza. It was bland and had no redeeming qualities. The sub sandwich my companion got was *blah* at best. The flavor profiles were not enjoyable to us, but I have read others that liked it. We won't be back, just freeing up seats for those who enjoy it.

This is round two for me at LaRosas. My first visit was shortly after they opened. The place was packed for a weekday lunch and the manager/owner (not sure which one he was) canvassed the place constantly. Today is a Saturday lunch and the place is sparse with patrons. I count 12 at 1pm. Too much nearby competition? Poor reviews? A full parking lot that gives the appearance it's busy? An over abundance of pizza joints in KTown? I'm here for the sauce! It brought me back. I really like pizza but with so many choices out there now...I don't feel the need to call Marco and Papa John to make a run to the Hut! Not any more! LaRosas apparently has a history. Something about Cinncinnati and "famous". Its all I heard about when they opened. Not a word this time around. It's pizza. What's there to say. I ordered the wheat crust veggie pizza. I would like to see the description of it. What was delivered seemed less than the description stated. I'm a red onion fan. Couldn't find any. I love spinach. It was there but was not fresh. It was the frozen kind you thaw out. Everything in the pizza was fixed which made it look like the frozen stuff you can buy at the store. I like the sauce. The music is my fav! 1980s! And my server Candace was attentive and friendly!

I did a online order and it was hot and ready when I got there to pick it up and the piazza was very good. A+

This is the closest to Chicago pizza that you are going to find in eastern Tennessee. They even cut it correctly: into squares instead of triangles! The service is good and they have the 'infinity flavors' soda machine. Their prices are low so you can afford to feed the whole family.

Disappointing. This is about as basic as pizza gets. They're in an awesome location in a new development off of cedar bluff. We went with their "Rondos" as an appetizer and their Double Pepperoni pizza on traditional thin crust. The theme of the meal was grease. The Rondos are like rolled pizza dough with cheese and pepperoni. I turned one upside down and almost laughed at the amount of grease that came out. I still liked them though, what's not to like about cheese and pepperoni wrapped in dough? I should preface this by saying I love all pizza. The double pepperoni pizza came out with, of course, lots of grease. The crust is by far the weakest part though. I can get over the grease but bland crust? The crust tasted like it had been made somewhere else, frozen and shipped to the store. Pizza was also a little heavy on the sauce. Unfortunately the price doesn't cut you any favors either. It's not cheap. There's nothing really memorable about La Rosa's. I had high hopes given their location. There are so many Pizza franchises and options for a good pie out there. La Rosa's is not one of them.

Calzones were AMAZING! You can taste the freshness in all of the ingredients. The dough had a good crisp on the outside and a wonderful soft buttery dough on the inside. The sauce is a perfect balance of sweet and acidic. Staff needs a little perking up but I have no complaints about this place. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back.

Really good food at a fair price. I went with my team from work. The food came out fast and the service was good.

Absolutely amazing pizza! First and for most the best deal on the menu is the combo meals. Its either a 6 inch pizza, sandwhich, or pasta with a side salad. The salad was fairly large for a side salad. When the pizza comes out it looks small but its perfect and filling to go with a salad. The combo deals are about $6.99. The menu has a ton of things to chose from. It took me forever to chose. The garlic fries are out of this world. The breadsticks are wonderful and not overloaded with to much seasoning. They are perfect! I ordered my son a kids spaghetti with meatballs. I must warn you the meatballs will be the best you have ever had. The manager Jenny actually was going table to table checking on the customers and their food. Along with checking on the staff and greeting/seating customers as they came in. Kuddos and two thumbs up to her! I will definitely return along with my family. I cant wait to try the cookie sundae!

So went to have pizza at la rosa's today and the bread sticks were amazing and the drink choices were great. The service was really bad she forget to ring up are pizza and then came to the table and told us after 15 mins waiting that she forgot. If it was not for the manager coming by to apologize Id would have rated it a lot lower. The management is really good but the service needs help

This was my second go round with LaRosas Pizza and I have to say it was pretty good. I came here with my wife and two daughters and we all came out enjoying the experience. I just wanted to mention before I delve into this review that I find it interesting when people review a place when it initially opens (when any person knows that a restaurant needs a little breaking in time to get personnel and service to get worked out) so the initial visit may lean towards not being positive. I don't understand that whole concept. You can't always go into a restaurant that's brand spanking new and expect them to get it all right. I also don't understand people that negative review a pizza place based on grease being in the pizza. Guess what it's pizza?! At any rate, the Roma Foccasia pizza and pepperoni rondos were great. The waitress did a great job with service---we would come back and probably order via the home delivery. The big thing for me when getting pizza is making sure you can get a good deal or coupons because a priority is making sure the kids are catered and you aren't spending a tremendous amount.

Very Disappointing. The service was terrible. Our waitress was rude. I had high hopes of this being good pizza. We ordered 2 pizzas and bread sticks. The bread was o.k the pizza was very basic, it tasted like frozen pizza. The crust was bland the topping were greasy, so greasy it puddled on the pan. I asked to speak with a manager, who was very nice and apologized for our terrible service and bad pizza and subtract from our tab. We will not go back.

I was so excited to see LaRosa's in Knoxville after having grown up with it in Cincinnati. Tonight's experience was short of impressive. While the food was somewhat reminiscent of my hometown experiences (but fell short), the wait time and service were horrible. And the manager just pranced around the dining room with a fake smile plastered on her face instead of taking notice of what was happening in her establishment and doing anything productive to remedy the situation. I'd love to see LaRosa's make it here but without some serious changes, I'm not sure it will.

Walked right and we were immediately seated by a great friendly hostess who asked me if we had ever been there before and made two or three suggestions before our waiter even came. He was right behind her and when we told him I had to be in and out before 1pm he was prompt, friendly, and kept our drinks fresh! Now let's talk about the food. I ordered the thin crust Greek veggie. It was piled with spinach Klamath olives, artichoke hearts and feta. This pizza also utilizes the "foccacia sauce" which is a marriage of the marinara and garlic sauce it's a winner. It's super garlicky and just Delish! Their sweet tea tasted like it was not fresh brewed. Probably a syrup of some kind. I'll get water or a soda next time. We were too full for dessert but when we go back I fully intend on destroying the cannoli. What makes this place better is they deliver. And deliver to my office. Can't wait to try it again!

It's a LaRosas! That's all you need to know if you're familiar w the franchise and are wondering. I happened to be working close by for a few days and since I grew up in Cincinnati but don't get back there often enough, it would be a sin to not have LaRosas. The Baked Royal was the same as the ones made in White Oak! That's not to say it was anything but awesome. It was hard to eat without having Dan Cronin across from me telling me how horrible the refs in 6th grade CYO are, and it was distracting that there were no LASalle or Colerain jerseys on the wall. But other than that it was like being home for an hour.

Best pizza in town. I was do excited to learn that Larosas was opening in Knoxville. Now I don't have to pick one up driving back from Cincinnati. The rondos are delicious and the pizza is tremendous. I think it's the sauce that does it for me. Great family atmosphere and friendly staff.

We love the pizza and the pastas! Great sauce, friendly staff. We have enjoyed having it when we are in Cincinnati and are excited to have one here in Knoxville.

Dissapointing...to be honest it tasted like a bland version of Stefanos. There was nothing special or different about this pizza. I can get better pizza at other places in Knoxville so for me there's no reason to go back here unless it's to try something other than pizza. The rondos were good but not great. The atmosphere and employees are nice.
